Peking to Paris Vintage Car Challenge roars off in China May 29th, 2013

Few car rallies can compete with the stunning backdrop provided by the Great Wall of China.

96 vintage and classic cars are setting off from the historic setting in a race to Paris that spans more than 12,000 kilometres.

But for many, who comes first is not the main priority.

For others, completing the journey will be a victory in itself and a voyage of discovery.

The participants, who hail from all over the world, will travel through eight countries in 33 days with the rally scheduled to finish in the French capital at the end of next month.

Women Falls Into Fountain While Texting May 25th, 2013

In some states in the US it is illegal to text and drive. You know, makes sense, when you're flying down the road in a two ton cage of steel at 70 miles an hour, it's probably good to keep your eyes on the road.

Seriously folks, if you want to text, safety first. Do it while you're walking. Any idiot can do that.

Uhhhh, looks like that's not any idiot. Let's take another look at that graceful nosedive she did.

Man! That must have hurt. I mean hurt her pride. Oh man, if only there were, multiple camera angles.

Yeah!

Oh man, living in a police state where every action is recorded by unseen cameras could be so funny!

Did you have a good laugh? Well here's some fun facts for you people. Every second, seven million people die from texting and walking related accidents. Still laughing? It's the leading cause of death in the country second only to walking while chewing gum. So please, let's not let another tragedy like this happen again.

Atletico Celebrations Turn Violent After King’s Cup Win May 21st, 2013

Celebrations marking Atletico Madrid's King's Cup win turned violent in the early hours of Saturday as hundreds of revelers faced off with riot police near Neptune fountain in the Spanish capital.

Atletico's jubilant fans spilled onto the streets of Madrid to celebrate their first victory in 14 years over their bitter city rivals, but scuffles soon broke out after some supporters began hurling bottles and other items at police.

A car that had been torched could be seen on a street next to the iconic Neptune fountain.

Baton-wielding riot police dispersed the large crowds by charging at them, while fire-fighters soon arrived at the scene to extinguish the torched vehicle.

Atletico Madrid stunned city rivals Real to win their 10th King's Cup when Miranda's extra-time header secured a 2-1 comeback.
